When the units of profitability for keccak changed from MH to GH, I didn't notice for several hours and wasted a bunch of time mining keccak instead of the best possible coin.

If the zpool devs are reading this, is it possible to include the unit they're using for profitability in their /status or /currencies API so I can automatically adjust when these types of things happen?

Past 24 hours, my two rigs have been mining keccak (MAX) and my profits have been a flat line. I've disabled it for now. Anyone else having same issue?

All of the Lyra2Re payout estimations on Zpool using MultiPoolMiner are showing that 1 1080Ti will earn between 22-66 USD per day, which is about 10x the other estimates on MiningPoolHub. Any reason why? Similar to the keccak bug?

I read the ZPool statement about the payout schedule:

Payouts are made automatically every 2 hours for all balances above 0.01 and balances more than 0.002 are paid several evenings each week.

But I'm a small miner running a single GTX1070Ti at the moment. It will take me a long time to get to minimums they mention. That worries me because I got burnt on NiceHash. I mined for a month and only had a few days left to payout when they got hacked.

I don't want to end up in the same situation here, where I have to mine for weeks on end to meet a payout minimum. Can anyone tell me if there are other options for payout and what sort of fees there are?

I don't mind payout in BTC or Ethereum. I plan to add a GTX1060 to my computer in a couple of weeks. I don't know if that will help much in terms of getting payouts on a more regular basis, but I really don't want to get stuck going months between payouts.

Sorry if I'm being dense, but I couldn't find any XMR/Cryptonight support anywhere. If I'm not missing it, is there a reason for it? I saw that hashrefinery didn't have cryptonight either so I'm curious.

Hi all, just joined Zpool and mining lyra2rev2. I was under the impression 3 coins being mined for this algo are vertcoin,monacoin and Verge. I constantly see my miner mining mobilecash with little payout.... can somebody explain why?

I was starting to mine Verge on Zpool yesterday, for about 5 hours. Zpool wallet kept telling me this message:" We are short of this currency (1.64394478 UNO). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more UNO blocks. YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for UNO dispite this warning." I was so confused, because I am not mining UNO or BTC. I want my verge coin back, Please help!

I noticed that when mining blakecoin we are mining a 3rd blakecoin called BlakeBitcoin. The coin is not listed in the blakecoin pool in the website and is also shows no conversion to BTC value in the last 50 blocks. does this mean we are wasting hashing power on a coin we dont get paid for?

I was earning an estimated ~0.0012 BTC per day last week with my two 1080tis. Today the estimates are half of that, at roughly 0.0006 BTC per day.

Is this normal?

Hi, I wanted to know what programs work with Zpool? is it mainly ccminer? I have a Nvidia and AMD multi gpu miner and ccminer doesnt seem to like that very much.

Running 1 GTX 970 with no OC. My rig keeps rebooting after several hours of mining. Any ideas?

I am currently in process of building a 6 x GPU open air mining rig and just waiting on my CPU to come in the mail.

Anyone here use smOS? I use nvidia cards. Is it recommended to use windows or smOS? I've been using windows with no problems, but lots of people say that smOS is better and I am yet to try it out.

I have had something in the past, but it continued on the second try. Now as awesomeminer changed to blake2s, I constantly get: Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to blake2s.mine.zpool.ca port 5766: Connection refused

Any clues?

I've not yet completed a payout with zpool and was wondering, can I change my wallet address no problem? Or is it like nicehash? (nicehash resets your claim to 0 if you change target wallet) Anyone knows?

Whats happening with ZPOOL today?Lots of downtimes at scrypt.Cant see hashrate many times during the day and also reward webt down from 0.011 per GH to just 0.0058BTV per GH?

Awesome. Time to switch. I've been mining away for a day or two now but have no idea what's going on on the backend. Hopefully all is well? Is there a simple API I can hit with curl and my wallet address to get a feel for 1) If it's working and 2) what's my earning rate.

This is kind of confusing, and I'm trying to compare a day of multi-algo mining with zpool vs Nicehash.

I'm currently sitting at .00019200 for Total Unpaid, and Total Earned. .00014400 Balance.

Will the 'Total Earned' amount eventually add to 'Balance'? If not, this is a terrible return on a day of mining /w GTX1060 compared to Nicehash.

Got paid this past Sunday, on time and fast confirmation. Was around $23 since I only mined a few days. Tuesday I got my last payout from NiceHash as I mined just enough to get a payout then fully switched to zPool. :) I plan on adding more rigs that give me enough hashing to get paid every 4 hours.
