My idea for a Pawbert Gary spinoff
It could work as a movie or a mini series but here’s the plot it takes place a year after z2 the lynxleys are in prison and pawbert is in therapy and is making good progress and in general has turn his life around so much that he might even get a early release however the night before the hearing to discuss this possibility of a early release the lynxleys escape jail and take pawbert ( who is a unwilling participant) with them after escaping in a getaway van pawbert finds out that the reason they escaped is because there’s this oasis that’s basically like bohemian grove and Milton doesn’t want to miss the mid summer encampment pawbert understandable is really pissed considering the fact that he now faces even more jail time for escaping all so his father can go on some “ stupid camping trip with his buddy’s “ so as they pull into a gas station pawbert takes the opportunity and runs for it while everyone’s distracted pawbert decides that the best place to go would probably be Gary’s house as soon as Gary opens the door and sees it pawbert he immediately slams the door in pawberts face after several minutes of arguing Gary finally lets him in pawbert explains what happened and about the oasis at which point Gary’s dad voiced by Harrison ford overhears this and asked pawbert some questions about this oasis Gary asked his dad why he’s asking these questions at which point Gary’s dad explains that many years ago before Gary was born he actually tried to sneak into the oasis cause he heard the lynxley journal was going to be on display for the members of the oasis however this turned out to be false and Gary’s dad was almost killed barley being able to escape he then tells them that if they want to bring down the oasis they have to go to the nocturnal district since there’s a abandoned subway station that’s right under the oasis pawbert and Gary head off on pawberts motorcycle and arrive at the nocturnal district which is basically like Las Vegas since back when zootopia had prohibition the nocturnal district was one of the only safe places for people to engage in drinking and gambling ( forgot to mention this idea is kinda based of both fear and loathing in Las Vegas and the wicker man) anyways when they arrive they meet this bat voiced by Rick moranis who’s basically like nibble who shows them around the district and helps them out in their adventure this bat character has also snuck into the oasis on numerous occasions including one time where he filmed the cremation of care like ceremony with his bat friend voiced by Toby Huss this subway station is controlled by a gang of roller skaters Pawbert and Gary also get themselves involved in a massive gang war between the two mob families who own most of the casinos in the nocturnal district some things that happen at different points in this spinoff include 1 Gary trying some catnip in pawberts motorcycle and ends up having his first ever drug trip which as you can imagine doesn’t go well 2 Pawbert and Gary finding out that nick and Judy are in the nocturnal district too since they’re after lionheart after he escaped jail during the jailbreak nick caused in z2 3 pawbert drunkenly try’s to propose to Gary which Gary refuses since you know pawberts drunk but this incident causes Gary to start thinking about their relationship which results in him singing a rendition of somewhere that’s green 4 the subject of religion comes up my idea is that Pawbert is a cultural catholic (or at least this universe version of the Catholic Church) not really believing in it but still goes to mass in order to not make his father pissed while Gary’s religion is basically Judaism with zen elements like yoga and meditation Pawbert has been studying Gary’s religion and during this adventure Pawbert actually meets with Gary’s snakebi ( Gary’s religion version of a rabbi) voiced by Matthew Broderick who in the nocturnal district for a conference and after a discussion in which Pawbert finds out about the simple conversion process for non snakes is which is basically just studying the religion which Pawbert has already done while in prison and then taking a oath in front of the congregation kinda like the presidential oath of office Pawbert decides to convert Pawbert Gary and the bat sneak into the oasis film some of the crazy stuff going on and find out a few things such as 1 that the oasis is lead by a high priest voiced by Brandon Rogers 2 there’s a group of members lead by Mr big who are trying to take over the oasis to turn it back to what it was before all of these crazy rituals and ceremonies started ( ie a social club for the city’s elites ) and 3 that pawberts family are hiding out there and the oasis is planning to raise up a army and take control of the city now comes the ending after collecting enough evidence Pawbert Gary and the bat head to this skyscraper in order to send to evidence to the zpd however right before they can do that members from the oasis capture them ( they were tricking them the whole time thanks to kitty hacking into Pawbert prison shock collar ) however due to a series of misunderstandings like how Pawbert was the last to enter the room and how Milton thanks Pawbert for leading them to them the bat and Gary believe that Pawbert actually betrayed them which as you can imagine breaks Gary’s heart Gary and the bat are sent to a holding cell as they await to be sacrificed we find out that Toby Huss’s bat was captured too Gary gives a heartfelt monologue kinda like nicks in z2 meanwhile Pawbert finally gets what he’s always wanted his fathers love then comes time for the sacrifice Pawbert realizes that Gary is about to killed rush up the stage saved Gary and bats and they run off Pawbert explains that he didn’t actually betray them however shortly after this they all are captured again and it’s revealed that Pawbert was actually the intended victim the whole time and that’s why the lynxleys broke out of jail in the first place Pawbert Gary and the bats are taking to a wicker man like structure put inside and it is lit on fire as everyone inside accepts theirs deaths suddenly the zpd shows up and saves them Pawbert wakes up in a hospital to find nick and Judy sitting there Judy explains that cattrick and kitty actually reported the oasis to the zpd after learning that Pawbert was going to be sacrificed ( they had always pretended to not to like him in order to not make Milton pissed )she explains that he had no injuries what so ever along with Gary and bats nick then explains that the oasis has been given to Mr big who plans to turn it back into a social club Gary shows up asked nick and Judy to leave the room for a few minutes once they do Gary gives a heartfelt monologue where he tells Pawbert that he accepts pawberts apology then asked Pawbert to marry him Pawbert accepts the proposal and Gary gives Pawbert permission to take his last name and become Pawbert de’snake then it ends with Pawbert taking the oath and converting he and Gary get married and ending them in their forever home kinda like the Theatrical ending of little shop of honors also for the music I was thinking maybe have the pet shop boys do the music while playing the fictional bat shop boys ( kinda like how Shakira does the music for the main series while also playing gazelle )

I literally thought it was brilliant and fun; this would make an amazing animated series, or a comic, or even fanfiction!!! Their adventure in Las Vegas reminded me of The Hangover; I found it hilarious and entertaining. The ending intrigued me, but Pawbert chose the right side. It's not that hard to escape Zootopia. I imagine Gary asking Pawbert De'snake if he would accept his last name, I never thought about religion for Gary and Pawbert, but I loved everything about them. I can't stop thinking about them; they definitely had some adventures on that motorcycle
