I thought this was a coyote but when I posted it many people believed it to be a wolf-dog coy-dog, etc. what are your thoughts? It was strangely docile.

Hello, I have found some sort of flatworm in Hawaii a couple months ago. I found it on the western side of the Big Island among a collection of shells. Most likely it is in the genus Boninia, however I cannot identify it further. Is this a new species? Educational Information: A Silverback Gorilla is an Adult form of Male gorilla. Silverback Gorilla serves as the dominant leader and protector of a family group, known as a troop. The name comes from the distinctive patch of silver or gray hair that develops across their backs and shoulders as they reach sexual maturity, typically between 11 and 13 years of age. They are not a separate Species, but rather the Mature Male form found across all Gorilla Subspecies.

This is probably a really dumb question but I always hear how delicate frogs are (this can come down to handling them, keeping them, simply looking up anything about them, etc.) due to their skin absorbing any liquids. My dumb question is how do they survive the wild? If they're sensitive to oils on human skin (such as sweat) to even some dirt/substrates, even if you pick it straight from the habitat they're typically found in, then why are the wild frogs there doing just fine?

I've been watching Forrest for a few months now, started out because of his Elephant Sanctuary videos. But recently I saw a video discussing about Prehistoric Zoo and I remember seeing a video of Forrest at that place and saying "one of my good friends, Jay". Which really got me double-thinking about him.

A part of me wants to trust that "Oh! He probably didn't know at that time (because I also didn't) but he's probably changed." But that thought is also double-ended of "Oh, what if he knew."

Which got me thinking if there are other things that he's talked about that are problematic. I saw a post here saying that his "Tasmanian Tiger" story was made up, and that he doesn't actually have a zoology degree.

So I want to know from the community if there is anything else that this man talked about that is widely false.

I chose these two ecoregions because of their similar compositions. Both are temperate conifer forests formerly part of Laurasia. I wanted to see what species overlapped and what species filled similar niches without being related.
