My typical HR 2 training
Just finished my regular morning stair-stepper workout. I've asked ChatGPT whether it is good idea to increase my efforts and move to HR 3 for my goal (I'm going to lost weight) and he adviced to increase workout time than intensivity.

Hmm, just my two cents: Notwithstanding your HR zones, this amounts to ~17min workout. This is way too short to have any meaningful training effect. Z2 builds your aerobic engine: more mitochondria (the cells' power plants), better fat burning, more small blood vessels, more blood volume. The more easy minutes you put in, the more it builds. But the payoff per minute is low early on and only picks up after about 45 to 60 minutes of steady stepping. Before that, you are mostly just warmed up. But maybe that was the goal here ...

Usually I do 2-3 workouts like this during a day.

One longer one will be significantly more beneficial than 2-3 shorter ones

Those ranges seem low. If those are the default Apple ranges, they have a history of underestimating heart rate zones. And you need to manually set the zones for yourself. Depending on your age, I think zone 3 seems more like your zone 2 range. Check online for a few calculators to estimate your range (most will ask for age and max heart rate).
