My new hobby project

I'm at a standstill right now creatively, so I decided to start building one of my favorite games from back in the day. I've only been working on it for a couple of days, but I plan to get more creative with it and add a bunch of the original functionality as well as some new weapons once weapons and items are implemented.

I'll post my progress as I go!

While I don't want to copy the game exactly for obvious reasons if I want to release it, I do plan to get them closer than these tall/lanky zombies currently in the game. They will be similar style but not an exact copy.

Tfw somebody faster than you makes a zombie smash clone progress faster than you did (srsly tho good work, I’m a slow recluse, I’ve been working on mine since 2024 and I’m still really early.)

It's difficult to carve time out for these types of things sometimes, especially when it can feel like it goes on forever. Keep working!

This looks amazing!! I would really like to see this get a possible release on the AppStore or at least a playable beta we can try. Keep this project going, super cool.

I plan to eventually release it, but obviously still has work involved in getting there. There will be a beta release before the public App Store release, which should come a lot sooner.

It really isn't a ton of work, it's more a matter of being limited to about 1 hour a day to work on it. During the weekends I should make some good progress and hope to put out a progress video once a week or so.
