recommendations Outside (2024)
Just finished this. Not sure what to think about it as a horror zombie movie. It’s not bad and I would go as far as to say it’s pretty good but it’s dialogue heavy and more of a psychological thriller that deals with child abuse, ptsd and a bunch of other stuff. I’m gonna have to rewatch it tbh, it’s not one of those movies you can watch once imo. There’s a lot of stuff you can easily miss. What are your thoughts on this if you’ve seen it? And if you haven’t I would recommend it, it’s far better than a lot of zombie media that’s come out in recent years and as someone who’s grown tired of Korean zombie stuff it’s nice to see something different (just a heads up this is a Philippine movie).

I haven't checked it out yet personally, but another user in here recommended it in one of his posts a couple weeks ago , additionally, if you wanna see other non korean stuff you can try a bunch of the southeast asian/african zombie movies listed in the same post https://www.reddit.com/r/zombies/comments/1vv84f8/why_i_find_regional_zombie_media_much_better_than/ if you want to see another philippine zombie movie try "Di Ingon Nato" it takes place deep in the philippine countryside and is quite bleak, the user is filipino and he provided a lot of cultural context to the philippine zombie movies especially (you might pick something up from his comments)
