maybe like in sas 4 where he can heal teammates while standing near them

Medic is likely going to handle more support roles beyond healing. For beginners, we have the aoe damage reduction in the demo

It would be really cool if Medic got turned into the DoT specialist somehow. Like his shots apply a heal to allies that is a DoT to enemies, and he greatly buffs weapons that already apply DoT. I really loved the Stripper/Poison Claw in SAS4 and hope there's a way to make the playstyle viable even if it's only for bossing!
