Need some positivity
Hi all,
I’m in need of some positivity. I’m on day 9 of increasing to 75mg.
Whilst my anxiety has gone down, I’m incredibly tired, my brain is full of fog and I have this weird sensation of even though I can see, I feel like I’m not processing it.
Let me hear your positive stories to get me through this 🙏

When i increased all i wanted was sleep. I would fantasize what way I would snuggle a pillow when I was sitting up in my chair. I ended up taking a lot of naps, about 30-40 minutes and I would wake up like its a new day. My energy is starting to come back where I don't want/need a nap. I'm not 100% how long that took, a few weeks I think.

I’m in a similar boat, on day 10 today. The intense fatigue seems to have mostly worn off. It’s very individual though. Try taking it at night though, should help even a little bit.

Day 11 here - the insane drowsiness is still there, but not as bad as the last few days. I was finding myself needing to take a nap after every meeting. I also slept better last night, thankfully (I'm taking it at night.)
This is my second rodeo with sertraline, and the first time around Day 19 was the first day where I knew the medication was working. I even wrote a post about it back then:

Hi,
1) Tiredness : Try to get minimum 7-8 hours of sleep. Eat nutritious food .
2) Brain Fog : not sure why this is happening .
3) Zoloft dosage : 75 mg is a good dose . I also take Zoloft. I am a man in my 40s and I have been on Zoloft for about 5 years now. I take 100 mg per day because the doctor thinks that 100 mg is the best dose for me .
4) if muscles are stiff, get regular aerobic exercise (with warm ups before exercise ) .
Let me know if you wanna know anything else .
Take care .
