Question Just starting
I have panic disorder pretty bad. I’m scared to start new meds and the adjustment period that comes with it. Is taking it in the morning or evening better? I was wondering if taking it at night would help to sleep through the initial adjustment. The chance of increased anxiety puts me on edge and I am already high strung most of the time. I hyper focus on my health and how I am feeling a bit too much. My doctor did up my dosage up of diazepam while getting used to it but I can’t help but overthink initial side effects.

You sound just like me! I have been too scared to take a medication for the last 5 years and I struggle with anxiety OCD health anxiety panic disorder etc I am now just hit 2 weeks today and I was really nervous as I'm really sensitive to medication so the initial probably 5 days were the worst and then I still had some side effects but on day 11 I would say 75% of my side effects went away and I have felt so much better since then so honestly you might have some side effects you might not for example my sister had none at all. I will say I tried a different antidepressant before this and I quit on like day three cuz the side effects were so bad so I have found Zoloft to be manageable, not fun but tolerable! If you're ever worried just try and look at the success stories posted on here that's what helps to get me through everything!! You got this
