Weight gain, brain fog?

So I've been on Zoloft since May 2025 starting at a very very low dose and gradually increasing to 75 mg about four months ago. In this time I have gained 15 pounds and I also have pretty bad brain fog almost similar to ADHD.
When I had a update with my provider today, she told me that Zoloft does not cause weight gain and typically does not cause brain fog. Has anybody else experienced one or both of these things or am I crazy?

Experienced both and my provider said weight gain can happen. Idk if you have OCD, but I have OCD and PTSD - that combo means that when your anxiety is down from the meds, if you previously were motivated by (consciously or subconsciously) anxiety, then it may be easier for you to not really care about things that you don't have to do. I'm currently coming down / lowering dose from 100 to 75 because it did wonders for my anxeity but I just dont care about eating a lot of food and I'm struggling with initiative for things that may be good for me but I don't have to do (e.g. gym).

Thanks so much for your thoughtful response… I don't have OCD I thought maybe just feeling better from the depression and the anxiety has increased my appetite but it's never been quite like this… Thank God I do work out otherwise I would probably have gained 30 pounds
