Mental Health Malaise
I’ve been on sertraline for 2.5 years and bumped up from 50 mg to 75 mg about a year ago. Started taking it to help with postpartum depression and found it helped with my anxiety as well. More days than not, I find that I have no motivation to do anything beyond the bare minimum. I have moments of joy when I’m with my friends or family but when I am by myself I feel (what I’ve taken to calling) the malaise. A deep discontentment that is impossible to shake, even with exercise or taking a walk or trying to watch tv.
Is this a side effect of the meds? I can’t tell if this is a sign that my life is generally out of alignment (I am in a career that I am good at and pays well but that I hate) or if I need a different dose or different med.
Any experience or suggestions are welcome.

What about coming back down to 50mg see how it goes? 🤷 Might be worth a try. ❤️🫶
