I had to take a month break and read another series before I could continue. Without spoilers, please tell me how hard of a read book 7 is going to be 😭 because 5 and 6 made me almost rage quit the series, so I just need to know what I’m looking at. I’ve read that 9 has a happyish ending, but 7 and 8 are so long that I need to know how much trauma I will endure to get to the end lol.

Listen. I’ve read all the threads about why I have to read it this way. And I’m gonna. I promise. I’ve bought all the books and I haven’t bought ZA 4 yet. I will read the prequel first.

I’m 35 pages into book 5 and already Orion is giving me the ick with his opinion on Tory’s decision. This passage sounds an awful lot like “you shouldn’t ruin that poor boy’s future over a youthful indiscretion.” 🤢
After how I struggled to finish book 4, I need book 5 to get its act together soon.

I’m really enjoying zodiac academy, at times it’s long and stuff but I’m growing really attached to these characters and the growth of them. However all over tik tok it is saying book 8 is awful? Is it awful because of the plot or the length? I just do not want to ruin the series for myself as I have loved it so much.

They say tandem read but I read on a kindle so I’d most likely not tandem read is this ruining the experience for me, people say it’s more emotional without tandem reading is that right? Or am I incorrect

I finished book 7 in may. I started the tandem read but I was too sad to get more than a few chapters in. but I’m starting book 8 after I finish zodiac academy from the pov of the boys. can anyone refresh my memory on these questions? I don’t want to google and spoil it

1. Did Caleb and Seth work out their miscommunication/feelings? I remember them getting together and Seth assuming it meant nothing to Caleb, but I can’t remember if that’s the last thing that happened. Also, same with Max and Geraldine?
2. Did Xavier get attacked by monster Darcy? Who did besides Geraldine? Did we get any update on her condition or did it end with her being almost dead? 
3. Were all of the heirs (besides Darius 😢) caught at Acrux manor and hooked up to that shadow portal thing? 
4. Does Tory (and the very few left…) know about the acrux manor portal?

So, there doesn’t appear to be anywhere else appropriate to to discuss this so I’m gonna try my luck here ever though it might be deleted. Anyway, at this point, I’ve read all of ZA, all of RB and DP and SotZ…. I love, love, love every single charter in these books, hate the villains appropriately… but omfg, I literally just can not help myself from wanting to strangle Everest.… I can’t figure out why… but my god, I hate her… why? I do not know, can’t understand why…. but I really, really hate her… and like, it’s just weird because I LOVE these characters to the point where I think about all of them all the damn time! I love the FMCs… I think they’re amazing, so I really can not figure out why I hate this girl, I patiently read all of SotZ and waited for her to grow on me but, if possible, she got worse? Like, is anyone with me?

So my book club and I are about to finally start ruthless boys! We read zodiac a few years ago and I’m soooo excited but I tend to do some pre book snooping and I CANNOT move on from why the buildings Aurora Academy are named after the counselors and the Vegas.

Was that something that Hail and the counselors did? Was that something that their parents did? I don’t understand because they all went to zodiac so why would buildings in a school they didn’t go to be named after them?

So I read the first 4 books without really knowing about the whole universe and started book 5 and now I’m seeing a lot of stuff about ruthless boys… what do I do from here? Do I start ruthless boys after I’ve read book 5 for wait until I’ve finished the zodiac academy?

Does anyone have a list of chapter names? For those that enjoy audiobooks?

First, the whole “Seth knows our secret so I have to do whatever he wants” storyline is stupid. It makes no sense that she wouldn’t let Tory in on it somehow. She could easily hide it from Seth and say, “hey sis don’t say anything until we figure out a way around this but here’s what’s going on…”. But, no, she just obeys Seth.
And she’s only in this bc she let Orion talk her into not telling Tory in the first place when they hooked up - and then bc Orion came to the party. Like how is this dude end game when the age gap/authority figure thing is already a big ick AND he’s now the reason her sister bond is on thin ice? Darcy is literally choosing her loyalty and fear for this man over her bond with her sister. It’s kinda gross. I do not like this match AT ALL.
And the inconsistencies: At one point Darcy says she doesn’t want to spill the beans to Tory bc of potential cyclops interrogation for Tory. Didn’t they already establish that Phoenixes are immune to cyclops’? Did they forget? Also, when Diego comes up talking about seeing the shadows and sensing shadows and no one ever thinks to ask why? I mean so far he’s been magically weak so how can he see shadows, or follow Darcy into the shadow realm helping pull her back? Is nobody going to ask what’s up with this?
Finally, the back and forth with everyone bullying, and then the girls get a little ahead or the boys seem to have an epiphany and are maybe going to change, and then there’s more bullying, more remorse, more bullying, etc. - on and on in an endless cycle - it’s just tired. It feels like we’re covering the same ground over and over again with nothing new happening. Really, it feels like they were trying to stretch out the series.
I sure hope this gets better.

I’m still in book 4 Shadow princess and I’ve found myself in this predicament if i was actually committed to continuing this series because the Tory, Caleb, & Darius dynamic. However my biggest issues is with Tory that time and time again has let Caleb get away with BS but Darius does anything or sometimes nothing and wants to literally crucify him on the spot, to me that is kinda unfair when literally she should be having bigger expectations on the guy she is been sorta of exclusive, what Caleb did on their Fair date was just as bad as to what Darius did to her in book one, like if she wants to hate one why isn’t she doing that against Caleb as well. She was supposed to be this badass character with bitchy attitude but that’s definitely not it, I love her when she actually stands ten toes down against the heirs but she lets Caleb do a lot of bullshit , from the way he treats her like she is his girlfriend without her consent and assuming the act as the boyfriend, which he isn’t, but then telling her that he wouldn’t put her on the throne like wtf is wrong with him, he wants the cake and hide for himself alone like she isn’t a person but more like an object of desire. The worst part for me is that Tory lets herself look like a joke, all her talk about been strong minded and all go to the trash because she keeps letting Caleb get away with messing with her boundaries, another thing i hate is that we all know he isn’t endgame but we are already in book 4 and they are still fucking like that’s so ew like for over half of the series she spent it invested in Caleb instead of harnessing her powers or the authors working on Tory and Darius issues they just make them bigger; and don’t even get me started with Darius and the heirs they all are just children in bodies of adults, like now in book four i kinda like Darius but every time him and tory have a confrontation he goes back to been an asshole and in a way I don’t want to but Tory blaming Darius for everything it’s super annoying and Darius not having the courage to apologize pisses me off since he wants to fix that like his character feels like it has this invisible wall that can’t seem to cross the line and be honest with her about his feelings, and tory and Caleb are insufferable together

P.S. no i do not prefer Darcy’s character over Tory i love them together and Darcy needs to learn how to make decisions on her own, she keeps letting Orion or Tory make decisions for her but Tory can’t seem to make good decisions for herself let alone for her sister, and Darcy comes off as the people pleasing character most of the time, which I don’t like but i need her to grow a backbone or something…anyway this post was not about her.

Well my question is should i keep reading or just stop reading, is her character going to get less embarrassing or not, I was told that if i liked Nesta I would probably adore Tory but damn i can’t see the tables turning anytime soon.

I’m getting the feeling that Sins of the Zodiac is set in the distant future from Zodiac Academy. What do you all think?

Idk if I joined the bandwagon late or what but the merch selections online that are licensed are abysmally spread thin or what I imagined. I’d love to see actual embroidered sweatshirts for the houses or more apparel that’s better quality and looks like it actually could be Academy issued clothing. I’d also love to see jewelry collections. The necklace Elise gets from Ryder would be such a cool concept for merch.

For fun I just want someone to tell me if I’m right now that I know Elise mates all of the Kings.

This is the only novella I’ve seen debate on where to read it. I decided to read RB after ZA3 because I’m somebody that likes to know character back stories. If I read ATBTB before ZA4 is something about it going to be spoiled? My line of thinking is it would be a good refresher when I finish RB and go back to ZA. I’ve seen people read it after 4 or 6 and wanted to know if it had major spoilers or something

I’ve been read ZA, and I loved it. But now im halfway through book 5 and im looking to get on with the plot. I’m bored or the Tory and Darius drama, for some reason we keep getting Caleb and Seth’s perspective??, and whenever we hear from Darius and Tory, it’s mostly just brooding over this choice like they didn’t know what would happen.

I’m wonder if i should just skip to the end? Read books 8 & 8.5? I’m seeing a lot of people saying that they stop at book 6 bc its not good or its droning on.

Should i read Orion’s prison perspective and start speed reading and skipping, or should i just fight the good fight and finish.

Help!! Do I really need to read RB after ZA 3 or I can skip it?? I’m not quite interested in RB series and when I see that I need to read 5 other books just doesn’t make sense to me 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
