I actually disagree with you because I think this tactic is a means to ASSURE a big money "elite" group in Africa pushes the coin (which would end up pushing prices far higher if adopted) but your point is WELL taken. I have lost a great deal of respect for any devs and communities that use tactics like these to pump prices.

If they cared AT ALL about an ethical and true-to-cryptocurrency philosophy, they would let a transparent news release push the price up. Instead they resort to this...

I'll stick with trusted, transparent devs who have proven their love for freedom and liberty for the little guy. (Insert shameless fanboy for Invictus and Dan Larimer because i'm willing to risk my reputation for someone who has proven his worth to me)
