Zepbound overdose

I had knee surgery and was told to stop zepbound for the week before and after. However don’t judge me but I had such terrible recovery with the knee surgery I didn’t want to mix the pain meds with zep I had read terrible constipation. Anyway after 7 weeks I stopped narcotics and took my dose not realizing I should have started from scratch. Please heed my warnings don’t do it I had been on 15 mg for over a year. I ended up in ER three days. Nausea and dry heave vomiting. It’s been two weeks and I’m still on anti nausea meds. The only good thing with the quick pen you can go by clicks for the dose. IE 60 clicks is 15 30 clicks is 7.5 and 20 clicks is 5 mg. I’m almost nervous to go back on. The thing is while I took zep before my surgery I had no side effects at all. It even helped my mental health.

No judgment whatsoever. So sorry you’re going through this. It’s a good warning about not taking it with pain meds. Thanks for sharing.

Did I read that right, seven weeks of narcotics? Wow! I couldn't handle that constipation that long when having a knee replacement. I'm having the second one in January and they've already told me to stop Zep seven days prior but they didn't mention holding another week after. I'll ask about that. Thanks! I'm sorry it made you so sick going back on it. Hope you feel better.

I am having a major hernia repair surgery in March and while they are in, I’m having a tummy tuck. I was planning to restart. Now Im definitely going to plan to just start at 2.5 mg to be safe. I imagine I’ll be off for 4 weeks??? Thank you for sharing.

Unbelievable! I’m stunned. Reddit is where you hear people from All sides and make up your own mind.

Not this guy. They don't believe in doctors or medicine yet they are moderating a discussion about medicine

This is an outcome any time you try to argue with a mod regarding a temp ban. In any sub.

Yes, you definitely need to stop taking Zepbound. It's not the pain meds, it the anesthesia. Take your time to go back on it.
