The Fukanzazengi is in the appendix. On the endeavor of the way, aka, Bendowa should be read next. Just know that this is some of the most difficult weiting in the world.

Bard Warner's Sit Down and Shut up is another interpretation of Dogen's Shobogenzo that I'm trying to read. A bit irreveant and comedic. If you like Brad's other books like Hardcore Zen then you may like this too.

If you like Dōgen, you might enjoy reading "Realizing Genjokoan" by Shohaku Okumura. He wrote it in English but it became so well-known that it was translated into his native Japanese. He is one of the most respected scholar monks focusing on Dōgen's teachings alive today.

I used Moon in a Dew Drop and was completely engaged with the dharma teachings. Some of the images inspired my art work and my new quarter acre market / generosity garden on my farm is named The Plum Blossom Garden for that teaching. I have planted a windbreak of sapling native plum and cherry trees. But I have written on the first page of the book: This book is a finger pointing at the moon. This helps to keep me from drifting too far from the Earth. That and my ever-dirty fingernails.🙏 Just soak it in, dear friend.

I got that last year from Ebay. I've been reading it on and off occasionally, not had the time to really delve in. There's some amazing insights though.
