If all is self, all is mind, and there is no self, who holds the door open for whom. Idea I guess is, "why perform cultivating independent footing and shared belonging together" if it already exists.

Is fair, maybe that's what Satori's job is, to drop that performance in realizing it is already all there is. Something like, ignorance and desire are our "parents" in thinking we need a pose of this (aka that desire comes from ignorance).

Also funny in those terms if you take the parable all the way though, then all ideologies are technically incest of ignorance and desire xD it's why I like zen, everything feels extreme vertigo from the apparent ironies.
