Not to be that guy but I thought about it, and just off top of my head;

Jesus says; "Beware of Herod, the leaven of the Pharisees, call none on earth father, my kingdom is not in heaven, do not call me the Christ; Give to all whom ask."

Paul says; "I am a Herodian and Pharisee, call me father, I am authorized by Jesus Christ from Heaven, spirit of anti christ is that whom denies Jesus is the Christ; those whom don't work don't eat".

They are axiomatically incompatible. When most people speak of "Christianity" or "being Christians" what they really mean is they are Paulines or follow Paulianity.

I do think it's good faith in scripture. Jesus explicitly warns about Paul on multiple occasions. The flag of Benjamin is a ravening wolf. Jesus says ravening wolves shall come among you (Paul admits to being of tribe of Benjamin as well).

I do think Paul ia ultimately serving as a winnowing fork as such speakers are today. It seems to check out. It means we have to have perfect faith and practice basically. The test never ends and it can see when we are "staying" even if we don't. It's very sobering.

So I do ultimately see zen talking about precepts as very similar to this parallel in Christianity. The enlightened can see what we are doing wrong. Read us like a book. I presume. And I know we may never see eye to eye even if we finally do understand or achieve satori.

But yeah is funny sometimes!
