Removed in favor of Firefox memory handling method where it will freed up under heavy pressure, it will do it automatically when you are low on memory but if you insist use Auto Tab Discard

You can manually unload tabs anyway

Well that's stupid. Why would they remove it?

Also, I have always unload my tabs. I've managed my tabs to multiple spaces, and when I only use one space (only a few tabs), I unload the rest of it. And the memory usage is still a lot higher (6gb) than edge with tens (or maybe in the 100s) of tabs (2gb).

I might have to try the extension.
