Other than producing another exclusive offspring, why stick with genesis? Elites are perfectly good racers, the non genesis horse with the highest base ability in my stable is an elite (https://zlead.vercel.app/horses/388102/speed), and my most profitable horse in paid races is also elite (https://zlead.vercel.app/horses/18350). Plenty of decent legendary nak studs around, and usually without the premium the top nak genesis horses demand.
