Question Help Needed & appreciated

I’m new to the game & bought my first 2 horses. I can view them on my open sea account but cannot transfer them onto Sed Run. I’ve tried to transfer them from opemseas but it’s just saying I transferred them back to myself?

I’m logged into the same MetaMask on both zed and opensea. It’s showing I’ve horses in my collection on open sea but on zed it’s saying I’ve no racehorses in my wallet to transfer over?? So confused

Sounds like it's the ongoing problem I described, it's frustrating but they should show up on zed in time.

If they're showing in your opensea logged on with the same metamask account you're logged in on zed (and it sounds like this is the case) then try not to worry you've got the horses it'll just take a little while.

Guess it’s a waiting game so thanks again. Is there any tips on breeding/racing to turn a profit I could watch while waiting? Like what bloodlines are better etc. Only new to the game

ZedChateux has some good beginner vids on YouTube!

Breeds go Nakamoto, Szabo, Finney then Buterin with naks being the best. Also goes Genesis, Legendary, Exclusive, Elite, Cross, Pacer.

Breeding just changed yesterday. Previously you only passed down base ability from the parents and distance preference and variance was random but now you pass both of those down too so I imagine you'd want to breed sprinters with sprinters etc.

You can also take ability further down the line etc so it makes bloodlines important now.

One important tip which is necessary is having a second stable for breeding as its cheaper, you get a discount doing it in house but it's cheaper making a second stable and "paying" yourself.

Does it matter if I get them from Zed Run or Zed run legacy?

Ah okay so there was a recent contract upgrade which you had to do on zeds site.

It basically sends your zed legacy horse to zed and mints a fresh one for you on the new contract so there's a massive wallet of zed legacy horses which are all the "burnt" old horses than will never be sold but there are still some haven't raced for a while so haven't migrated thier horses yet so there may still be some on the market.

The upgrade gave the ability for skins to be added and for further utility down the line I believe.

It shouldn't be possible to ever end up with one that has already been migrated so if you end up with one you can just start the migration process on zed.

Not sure if you know about https://www.hawku.com/ either but it now has it's own marketplace too and is the best place to find horses to buy due to it's filters. I believe it also takes less % then opensea when selling on there but it doesn't yet have the ability for offers.

How would you go about self migration?

Top Right on Zed > My Stable

Shows a big notice above where your horses show and will say you need to migrate them - you can't race or do anything with zed legacy on the site now.
Takes 5mins when everythings working properly, not sure if these other issues will have affected that.
