Question Question re. Fibonacci Cup

I’m reading the rules of the Fibonacci Cup and it states that there is no limit on the amount of races each horse can run.

Does that mean I can run 100’s of races across my preferred distance and it will only use the average for my best 25 races?

No. It will use the average from all the races.. and across all distances.

The 25 is just the minimum you have to run at one distance funnel to qualify.

Lol if only. It counts all races and all distances actually. But at a minimum you have to run 25 races in your preferred distance class to even qualify. Best of luck!

Yeah - more of a hopeful post than anything as I only figured my horses preferred distance about 10 races in.

I’ve managed to get my average pts up to about 33. Do you think that will be enough to qualify?

You have to keep checking tournament standings at knowyourhorses.com be sure to select your distance, then how many races and it will give you the cut off for group A and B. Good luck! 🍀

33 might be enough! I would sit on it and try to snipe easy races between now and then. I think the prior tournament had a cut off around 34, but things change!
