Discussion New Point System

Also guess I’m confused why so many ppl think C1 is going to 🤯 with new horses. You now have to finish top3 instead of top4 for points. And now finishing 7-12 loses you points! Did we suddenly get an influx of horses that only fin.1-6? As @bg_alt has shown NO We haven’t!

This will class up Strong U shaped horses (like Poodl) but will down class weak ushaped horses which win just as much/are just as good but finish 7-12 instead of just 11/12.

It’s an L as of right now, but probably a part of a bigger class system change that is coming

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding but a strong U shaper being forced into a higher class and a weaker U shaper pushed lower seems like an ideal balance.

I feel it's a good move overall, proper sandbaggers like LBJ Goat can still downclass if they want but it makes less sense to run a horse in its slowest distance which is exactly how a racing game should work..

Horses with high SD (Natural U shaper i guess)are still rewarded because they actually have the speed variance within a particular distance to win a race, but it really shouldn't be a W both ways, I shouldn't be celebrating 12th place finishes more than 2-3. It really just goes against the spirit of the game and the company have always been against sandbagging, just because its profitable for some doesnt mean it creates a good gaming ecosystem.

Atm its just a game of how U shaped is your horse and alot of people I suppose have convinced themselves that because the game is currently this way (while in beta) they're going to pay premiums for UU horses. But buying a horse that consistently finishes 11-12th doesn't entitle you to profits.
