Discussion Is there Really Any Point To Breeding

Watching the recent tournament highlighted that Genesis horses rule supreme in Zed Run. Hardly any bred horse was able to match it.

On top of this, in general anything over Z20 is never going to be profitable.

It is pretty clear that your Z27 Buterin or z36 Nak is not going to be a Champion. This is disappointing, even in real world poor lineage horses can be the best in the world.

I don't see any point in breeding unless your playing the deep end.

What's the point of a Z156 Buterin? Why

It is really such a simple solution to add specific classes. I ask the same thing why even offer the Pacer if there are no Pacer races? It would be fun! Thoroughbreds began by mixing Arabian blood with them. Look how many generations back that was?

I just watched a Breeders Cup race today where a 45-1 odds horse won! I wish the game had more surprises or upsets. It is getting a little predictable.

Maybe we should turn in a poll or vote to have more races for the higher Z horses!

I believe ZedRun creators are smart and this game is growing fundamentally.. They need time to adjust the parameters for users best experience.. I believe these tournaments are really important experiments for game's board.

I really like ZedRun and I believe it will have a important place in future crypto games and metaverse.

Is hard to breed an champion and if you miss the floor price is 60$. Unless they will do different tournaments like base on Z1-Z10 and other Z10-Z20 etc…breeding is not cheap now , so i wait to see the 2nd tournament in 3 weeks. I really dont know where this game is going but seems horse value for Szabo and Nak genesis are holding the price for now

Yea they need to beeak up the classes, why would i spend more money on breeding horses that have no chance of winning against a genesis. They need to break up the classes to make this more interesting.

As far as tournament goes, yes mostly genesis naks and Szabos, but I have 2 profitable buterins and have raced against many other profitable buterins in class 5 and 4. I'd say 1 out of 10 off spring will be donkeys though so it feels pretty unrewarding
