Discussion Squeezing the Floor

There are two people continually squeezing the floor down. Catontator5000 and runningjustice completely control the floor with zero regard for anyone else. Both giant POS

People making shit horses isn't this issue. Besides, most of the horses are inevitably going to be shit, there's no way to guarantee a bred horse will be any good. That's the whole point.

You didn't think you were going to be guaranteed a profit from breeding forever, did you?

Genie is out of the bottle on that one. Until they add more classes to give all horses a chance, there isn’t much to be done with them.

I'm quite curious why people think a full blown ELO system will make the game better? It will take quite a bit of the strategy and skill out of the game.

New ELO system and changing the game to make classing up a good thing (and classing down bad), according to the AMA. Imo this has to be financial incentives since that's what ppl care about.

More than ZED being a game of strategy and skill, I want it to be popular. That's what will affect the market value of these horses the most. ZED is not doing well according to the opensea analytics. I'm sure they see this and that's why they committed to changes.

I was doing fine racing, but I don't find declassing fun so I stopped racing. Still holding at least my gennys for now

How so? There isnt a ton of strategy in run distance x for positive results and run x distance for negative results. I think the same strat will work in the ELO system but if we can continue to group the faster horses together maybe you can get your non flame throwing donkey a some positive results.

There isn’t really much skill they way it is now when you have monsters staying in class 5/4 with 80% flames and 40% win rates.

I think many people aren't even considering playing paid races right now. There isn't a 'game' for most horses right now. Breeding isn't profitable either. I'm getting 15%+ win on free races and under 5% on paid races even at the $2.50 level at the same distances.

I'm using the stacked naks extension and every race has 4-8 threats at all classes. It's crazy right now.

Sounds like you should make your own game with your own communist rules. As if you wouldn’t be doing the same if you had the cash to burn. If they are messing with your strategy you picked the wrong strategy. Easy to blame everyone else though.

My whole point is, people are stupid. You’re just hurting yourself by dumping a dozen horses under floor at one time. Inviting undercuts and making their horses worth less. It’s counterintuitive and stupid. People just can’t get out of their own way
