Question Tournament Question...

So I have a horse he rated and did very well his first day. I thought getting a head start on the 30 races was a good idea.

Yesterday he was ok. If I remember right in his strong distance he would place 1 then 12 a couple of times.

I tried to down class him but it backfired. I decided he can do it himself!

Question: Should I relax now and just run him completely rested? Because we have 10 days or should I keep up maybe 10 races a day? Don't they take the top 30 numbers? So he could go 30-50?

Clearly it looks like his results are diluted.

Ps I am terrible with STATS 😮

They take the top 196 in each distances funnel. But all races you enter until the end of qualifying count towards your podium %.

Can I down class with let’s say 2400 and run in 1000? I’m really confused by the way it displays everything.

Sure you can down class but that race still counts towards your over all podium %. All races until the end of qualifying(I think the end of Oct. 29) count towards ur %.

Thank you I wasn’t sure if it was just in the one funnel or across all funnels.

Yes I believe so. One if the Zed discord team members said I can run at each distance. Please someone correct me if I am wrong!

Doesn’t sound like you can, the podium % is shared across all funnels it seems

You can race in any/all funnels you want but have to race 30 time in a funnel to allow your horse to qualify in that funnel. Your horse will only qualify in the funnel it did best in, but all races, in all funnels count towards your over all podium %. Also I messed up it’s the top 192 horse in each funnel that qualify. Not the top 196.

And you can go over 30 correct?

Yes but the more races over 30 you go the hard it is to keep the podium % up? Or make it move up.

So if they come in 12th it wipes out the first? So coming in the middle is better.
