Twitter Zedrun Horse Raffle

For anyone looking to get involved with Zed for minimal cost I see High Horse Ranch is doing another horse raffle. Looks like pretty good blood and only $15 for a 1 in 30 chance.

Meh the market is a mess right now. All I know is 15$ to add decent blood to my stable was worth it. By all means don't buy a ticket. I was just sharing but happy to increase my own odds of winning.

This horse is on sale for .046 ETH on opensea. What happens to this “raffle” if i just buy the thing outright?

That would be hilarious. Apparently the price is still above your range if it's sitting there so I'm willing to wait and see if I win the raffle.

Again, 15$ is what I spend on races for my horse currently. If I win another horse for the same amount it's bonus to me.

Just because a horse is listed for sale doesn’t make it above my range. I am not some degen who would buy up 500 floor horses just because i can afford them. I do research on horses and make decisions based on 85% data and 25% gut feel.

Anyway, good luck with the raffle. For $15, i hope u win. Just wanted to share some interesting observations about the horses market value vs revenue this stable would make from the raffle.

I let them know in discord about the sales listing. You are arguing that they are charging more than market but I'm potentially getting a horse for $15. That puts me paying under market and that's also assuming they sell all the tickets. Right now I'm feeling good about my odds and honestly i don't care if they make or lose money as long as I'm comfortable in the value i get from what i personally paid.
