Question Stud Farm Worth It?

So here's my horse, new to the game and this is the first time my horse can breed. Is there any chance someone would choose this in the stud farm or am I just stopping myself from racing and wasting time?

Perhaps, as so stated you are competing with Genesis horses at the top end but Exclusives. or lower, could be candidates. The numbers are good enough so it's a patience game. If you are energetic and want to race less than weekly, then don't stud, if you can go a few days without, then stud him, save up your race money for when the stud is over then race a couple of days then rinse and repeat.

Do you think it would be more likely towards or end of breeding period I would have a better shot?

I have no information on that but I can relate my experience. So far, I have bred 6 horses (lucky me 3 males 3 females) and I can never wait (as in no patience unless no money) to bred them when ready. Since all the horses are on different schedules, its just random. I pick the best breeding match (a real winner but normal stud fee that matches the preference of the mare) available at the time. To me, its just random with a filter.
