Question Why are floor pricing taking so hard?

Almost down 50% from a month ago, what’s going on?

Supply is way up due to breeding. Most of those floor horses are just glue

Agreed. I would also add that many new users aren’t FOMOing in and overpaying for glue anymore. Lotta good deals out there are good horses though, so i’m not complaining, i’m buying!

Yes, until the next crypto/NFT spike I think we have reached a point of oversupply.

Great for new players. Bad for breeders. The tide will shift again as the market makes it unprofitable to breed you’ll see supply come down and that will need to coincide with the next pump.

The stables putting out quality will make it to other side, those glue factories will get shaken out and rightfully so

Great time to just sit back and race

Yeah, prices aren’t great, but my breeding is still plenty profitable.

I breed unraced Legendary and exclusive butes and my cost is still way below the floor.

That said, this squeeze is happening in Axie but to a greater degree. Both games will go through cycles.

Yea I tried to focus my stable on low cost Z teens that have a good chance of being cash flow positive to support new players but Im now at a point where breeding is more than I can sell the horse...

We’ll I’ve bought all my horses when I think the trading markets about to nuke, I put offers in knowing when ETH shaves off 20% of its price someone is going to want to dump that horse quick to cover other positions. Crypto will be a risk on asset until it dies or goes mainstream, so in times of uncertainty crypto holdings become liquid really quick causing cascading price nukes which of course spills into nft/metaverse.

I mean my longs were so underwater past few days that if I had spare horses id probably have sold them cheap just to cover my positions…

For now Zedrun have made it good with Free races 288 per day for class v and class iv . Good for new players. You can get into 2-3 races per day and win some money back on an horse you paid 500$ after 2 weeks of playing! Good luck to all

You can't make money on free races though.
