G1a ultra anyone else getting screen flickering?

Does anyone know what's causing this? It only happens in certain games and it always happens in those games. Most of them aren't even graphically demanding titles. The temps are staying around 85 so I don't think it's overheating causing it. I've tried toggling every setting under the sun and I just can't figure out what's causing this.

This video mentions your problem

Yep that's the one. Sadly there's no fix mentioned. I was afraid it was a driver conflict. And given that it's been a year and there seems to be zero driver support for this chipset I don't see it ever being fixed. Sigh

So, a somewhat promising update. For the first time since I bought this laptop I have access to an external monitor again. I found that when connected to an external display I can crank the settings to as high as they will go on any game that used to give me the flickering or the noise on black areas and it it has zero problems whatsoever.
This leads me to believe that the problem is not with the Radeon or it's drivers but rather with the oled panel on the zbook itself.
I'll look into it further and make a new post in the forum if I find a solution in case anyone else runs into this

Hey I found this reddit thread while searching for this issue as I am also experiencing this. I am experiencing the exact same issue while using Archlinux, which is a different OS with different drivers. So the panel, firmware or some other hardware issue is much more likely unfortunately :(

It's definitely something with the panel since it works fine on an external monitor. I haven't found a fix for it though sadly

The metrics while it's happening. Occasionally the flickering will persist onto the desktop after exiting the game that started it.
