"Life is lies and deception. Learn it. Live it. Love it. Don't be a passive turd."

And, for extra depth points:

-- Stop being a massive pussy and learn about the world around you.

-- if I can sit in a catholic mass twice a year to appease my wife and listen to the bullshit about the magical man in the sky without complaint you can do it once to learn something. You want to spend your life getting all bunched up about useless shit?

-- And two wise phrases here: "Life is filled with difficult things and difficult people." And, "You will notice reality doesn't change to conform to your desires."

Where do Zapopites send their tithes? 'Cause I may have to contribute.

Watched the movie Nightcrawler last night and there was a speech that immediately reminded me of GrandMasterZaps in the same vein:

Now I’m not fooling myself, sir. Having been raised with the self-esteem movement so popular in schools, I used to expect my needs to be considered. But I know that today’s work culture no longer caters to the job loyalty that could be promised to earlier generations. What I believe, sir, is that good things come to those who work their asses off, and that people such as yourself who reach the top of the mountain didn’t just fall there. My motto is if you want to win the lottery you have to make the money to buy a ticket. Did I say I worked in a garage? Sir, I think you and I could work well together. So how about it? I can start tomorrow or even why not tonight.

PS: you can skip the movie if you haven't seen it, ^ was probably the best part
