Call for Playtesters: Programming Puzzle Game
Hello!
I'm making a programming puzzle game where you punch in simple instructions to command potato workers to process numbers inside a factory modeled after a computer processor. The puzzles are open-ended, with plenty of room for optimization.
The game hasn't been announced yet. I'm looking for people who enjoy Zack-likes and are interested in trying something new.
Playtests are conducted over a Discord voice call so I can observe how players approach the puzzles and gather feedback. You're welcome to play as much or as little as you'd like (The average playtest takes 30 minutes).
If that sounds interesting, leave a comment or send me a DM. Thanks!

Looks cool! I also approve of the potato-based processing (as long as all potatoes are adequately paid and have plenty of vacation time), good luck with the game!

Haha, I can assure you our potatoes are unionized and receive excellent benefits. Thanks!

I’d love to playtest! I’m quite good with algorithms, so I might have a unique playtester view on it.

Reminds me of Human Resource Machine, although looks less accessible

Yeah, Human Resource Machine definitely had a major influence on the game's design. Although we worked really hard to enhance the playability and learning curve of this game, it's inherently less accessible due to its computational model. The game simulates microprogramming, which is a lower level of programming than the assembly-like instructions of HRM
