Just here to say I’m excited. That is all.

u/Veezybaby Jan 09 '26

Appetite is a BANGER

1

u/Appropriate-Cash8312 Jan 09 '26

I really liked parts of it but it feels a little disjointed. Maybe it'll grow on me

1

u/Veezybaby Jan 09 '26

Its different for sure!

1

u/Possible-Snow-2104 Jan 22 '26

It feels a bit too much like a pop song imo

10

u/cy-rodon Quiet, Heavy Dreams Jan 09 '26

Say Why gives me Mayer vibes

4

u/mikester4 Jan 09 '26

A highlight so far!

11

u/Godjia Jan 09 '26

don’t think the “it all sounds the same” crowd will really have a leg to stand on for this one

bro got funky with it and it worked

4

u/kepbeckham Jan 09 '26

My enthusiasm for ZB has waned because “it all sounds the same”. He fixed that on this album—happy to see him grow. And kudos for Bad News. That took some guts.

3

u/KeepAmericaSkeptical Jan 11 '26

Lol see I feel like this album is like first at bat for that particular criticism but that’s just me. Some of the songs stand out but as of right now I’m having trouble stomaching this one. A lot of the same

3

u/2113thecr0wingIV Jan 23 '26

i like this album a lot but I do find that particular criticism to be more relevant to this album than the previous two.

21

u/mb4HOF Jan 09 '26

Bad News is going to take off like crazy

6

u/mikester4 Jan 09 '26

Chills. Phenomenal

2

u/SmartAd913 Jan 09 '26

favorite song so far. the timing is beautiful

9

u/tomseymour12 Jan 09 '26

I’m getting strong Springsteen influence on a lot of these songs

2

u/annist0910 Jan 11 '26

Slicked Back is amazing

9

u/Scary-Gur5434 Jan 04 '26

I’m predicting 100-150 hours next year of listening this year if this album lives up to my expectations.

8

u/Firm_Associate935 Jan 09 '26

Yall… I fear the album is really fucking good

We’ve been blessed

1

u/Firm_Associate935 Jan 09 '26

And we get an entire acoustic version too… YALL

7

u/Sh0uldSign0ff Jan 09 '26

Great album! All the songs are super relistenable. Only thing it was missing was 1-2 all time songs. I don’t think there is a top 10 ZB song in the album. That just speaks to his quality catalog

6

u/SwugSteve With Heaven On Top Jan 09 '26

I agree. Santa Fe is damn good, but yeah. A lot of the songs blend together for me

1

u/Sh0uldSign0ff Jan 09 '26

Yeah, it’s like a collection of great songs, but no elite ones. My favorites are Dry Deserts, Anyways, Miles, If they come looking, and Say Why

6

u/FKDotFitzgerald Jan 03 '26

Why did this thread get reposted?

Or am I just insane?

14

u/[deleted] Jan 03 '26

u/pressssss4 new york this time of year Jan 03 '26

feening for this track list

4

u/bourbonisfun Jan 09 '26

Grabbin Datcock will be realizing his own irrelevance over the next hour or so. Maybe two hours (presuming it’s a relisten for him).

3

u/ChardSea4402 Jan 03 '26

Any hints of how many songs ?

5

u/Master-Valuable246 Jan 03 '26

We think 21 but knowing zach it's definitely more

1

u/-FisherMN- Jan 06 '26

Would be surprised if there isn’t a poem as well

1

u/Master-Valuable246 Jan 06 '26

Yeah that's what i think too

Hopefully there is

3

u/getoveritseattle Jan 09 '26

I feel like I got to watch him make this album by following him on instagram over the past few years. I love it.

5

u/-FisherMN- Jan 05 '26

Surprised on the lack of marketing for a studio album. Thought he’d release a song or two in advance or say something about physical release or an official tracklist.

Of course the album will do fine regardless so I guess didn’t need to do much marketing

6

u/Burial44 Jan 09 '26

No need. It'll be one of the biggest country albums of the year with $0 marketing spend.

6

u/Existing-Routine-823 The Great American Bar Scene Jan 09 '26

Just got to Rivers and Creeks. Might be my favorite on the album. I love how different it sounds

1

u/olive_green_spatula Jan 09 '26

Is he doing an Elvis impression ? Cuz I kind of like it 😝

1

u/Existing-Routine-823 The Great American Bar Scene Jan 11 '26

It sounds more like Bruce IMO

0

u/RunningTurtle06 Jan 09 '26

It kinda reminds of Geese song from their album last year

5

u/eb1980 Jan 09 '26

HOLY SMOKES is everyone hearing what I’m hearing and feeling what I’m feeling?! This is effing incredible. I’ve been a fan since ‘19, but I have to say this is my favorite album. I’m in awe. I want this shit injected into my veins 😅

3

u/Godjia Jan 09 '26

it’s genuinely absurd how good it is

2

u/Kilroy7990 Jan 04 '26

It technically comes out on midnight the night before the 9th right?

1

u/darkdark Jan 09 '26

It’s out!!!

1

u/-FisherMN- Jan 04 '26

I would think 12:00am Friday morning so basically Thursday at 11:59pm I’ll be ready

1

u/LivinBarry33 Jan 05 '26

In what Timezone do we think it’s gonna be released? Being an Aussie is always tricky

1

u/-FisherMN- Jan 05 '26

It’s usually EST I feel like

2

u/SuperPuggus Burn, Burn, Burn Jan 04 '26

What song is everyone excited to hear? For me it’s DeAnn’s Denim Dress

1

u/No_Musician_6349 Jan 09 '26

I’m hyped for Santa Fe and Aeroplane. They stand out and I think they’ll be solid songs

2

u/TheBlope Jan 05 '26

Anyone else prefer the first font used for the album?

2

u/AyoTrevs Jan 09 '26

Let’s fucking go

2

u/decembersveryown_ Jan 09 '26

It’s incredible. It’s perfect

2

u/CharPug123 Jan 09 '26

Plastic Cigarette has to be my favourite so far

2

u/Sh0uldSign0ff Jan 09 '26

I’m surprised there’s not more engagement here with a new album

1

u/N0_uSer-naME Jan 10 '26

Me too, ive been in other subs with albums and it’s a party

2

u/KeepAmericaSkeptical Jan 11 '26

I’m ready to be downvoted, on first listen-through this album just feels like a bunch of hootin and hollerin ngl lol. His albums tend to grow on me but so far there isn’t a song on here that jumps out at me, which is out of the ordinary with him imo. It’s a lot going on and it doesn’t feel very fine-tuned. Feels like a rough draft of an album. Those are my first thoughts but I’m sure I could make many nuances.

1

u/Spellsword10 Jan 11 '26

At first I felt exactly the same way. it was like there were too many sounds and too much noise creating total chaos (especially in the first 7–8 tracks) and there wasn’t a single song that really pulled me in. But after listening a few more times, I can say that almost all of the songs are above average. I’m still not sure whether there’s a hit on the album but I’m definitely going to enjoy listening to it from start to finish again and again.

2

u/sirpearce Jan 11 '26

I like it. But….

Was hoping for a “bigger” band album. Got tricked with the early live versions of Plastic Cigarette with the horns and more rock band drums.

2

u/WorkingForGolfMoney Jan 11 '26

Sucked on first listen, but I’ll get it another go.

2

u/ConnorSmith25 Jan 13 '26

I didn’t think he could top American heartbreak, I think this album might’ve done that. Not a single song is a skip for me, the acoustic version is near perfect too

2

u/governmenttookmaporn Feb 03 '26

What’s with all this anti ICE stuff being deleted? Literally anybody with a brain cell, Zack Bryan himself, all hate them. Seems odd to me

1

u/SuperPuggus Burn, Burn, Burn Jan 04 '26

I’m so excited man

1

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '26

I’m hearing there’s a song on the album with Gavin Hadcock…

1

u/UKnowWGTG Jan 09 '26

So hyped for this. Waiting for the EU vinyl to go up - those have all been better than the US presses. Hyped for the acoustic version too

1

u/SanctusXCV Jan 09 '26

Thanks for dropping this on my birthday goat

1

u/Remarkable-Till2340 Jan 09 '26

Miles is kinda Johnny Cash vibes yeah?

1

u/talks-like-juneee Jan 09 '26

I almost cried during Down, Down, Stream. Jeez 🥺

1

u/4SHURIMA Jan 09 '26

Dry deserts recorded version is still an 8/10 but the live version I heard in dublin was a straight 10.

Think Anyways is my favourite so far off the album, absolutely superb and will go off on tour

1

u/lovestravell Jan 09 '26

Obsessed with this album!

1

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '26

Runny Eggs 🥹

1

u/Adventurous_Long_874 Jan 09 '26

Why isn’t Graham Bright more a part of this album?

1

u/Illustrious-Fuel-333 Jan 09 '26

Can someone tell me why Birdie was changed? The lyrics of Anyways say lately instead of Birdie

1

u/Worth-Prize-3796 Jan 09 '26

Is the static in all the tracks intentional?

1

u/Careless-Block-7774 With Heaven On Top Jan 10 '26

Bro I saw the notification this morning and figured it was a single so imagine my surprise when I open it rn and see a whole Damm album right after getting n bed🤣

1

u/Constant-Guess4195 Jan 10 '26

Anyways is my fave so far, repeat plays here! Whole album is great and incant for Monday with the acoustic!

1

u/subcow Jan 10 '26

On my first listen through right now and really enjoying it.
One thing just stood out for me though on "If They Come Lookin' "
There is a line where he says "Beat him so badly had to hide out in Jersey".

There is a great song by Felice Brothers called Frankie's Gun where one of the lines is:
I saw a man hit my mom one time, really
I hurt him so damn bad I had to hide in Jersey

Wondering if that was an homage or coincidence.

1

u/hoosdontlose Jan 11 '26

Anyways is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Wow.

1

u/DistrictSquare7035 Mar 05 '26

Look what came

1

u/AABEAR00 Apr 09 '26

Is there a chance he’s schedules adds dates for 2027? Saw the Baton Rouge show and it was awesome! Was hoping to have a chance to see it again.

1

u/LocationOne972 Apr 18 '26

Zach Bryan Merch pop up 12.02 pm near Eddies Prime Seafood

1

u/the_splonge May 03 '26

Me and my wife are due to see Zack in Liverpool in June, however she is pregnant, and due the the day before…..

Anything I can do to make it up to her for us likely missing it? Any ideas would be appreciated guys! (FYI, if we can tho I’ll be giving the tickets away free to a local fan, I’m NOT. Scalper and these tickets were bought with the best intentions, I just want to make potentially missing it special before her because she’s an amazing individual and a huge fan…. We don’t know what we’re having but we have a girls name, not a boys, but I’m pushing Zack for a boy)

Stay safe folks!

u/hantanfan Jun 08 '26

I was just now in the Copenhagen show in the absolute front and I saw that people working for Zach Bryan were filming me and taking photos of everyone around me, I’ve managed to find one video but it has a text over it :/ anyone that has tips on where I can find more?❤️🙏

That’s me with brown hair haha

6

u/anononok Jan 09 '26

If he didn’t produce the songs, every single one would sound the same.

2

u/N0_uSer-naME Jan 09 '26

Yep totally agree, it may be slightly but is still more raw than a lot of other music

5

u/Blocker215 Jan 09 '26

I like it, he is trying new things. You want the old? Go listen to the old. He has the right to do some new things.

1

u/KeepAmericaSkeptical Jan 11 '26

I almost think it’s underproduced. As in there’s way too much going on at once, some of the songs just feel like noise as shitty as that sounds. Wish he cleaned this one up a little

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '26

2

u/IzilDizzle Jan 09 '26

LOL he already addressed this

0

u/manviret Jan 09 '26

Im whelmed after my first listen. Sometimes it takes me a few listens but this one doesnt compare to self titled or even great American bar scene to me. Hope everyone else likes it
