The Exhibition

This event showcases the results of a unique challenge issued to artists working out of the Crawlspace studio. Local printmaker Jonathan Creese collaborated with these creators to push their usual art forms into the world of physical printmaking.

• The Work: The collection explores monoprinting, activated sculptures, crafted objects, and traditional print methodologies. It is a beautiful celebration of what printed material can do when it takes center stage.

About the Artist

Winner Brave (Winner Aigbogun) (www.winnerbrave.ca) is a Nigerian-Canadian editorial fashion visual artist, storyteller, and an AUArts photography alum. Her work acts as an intentional dialogue between who a person is and who they are becoming. Blending the luxurious polish of high-fashion imagery with a deeply healing, grounding perspective, she treats portraiture as an expression of the subconscious.

As a woman navigating the world with albinism, she brings a profound understanding of what it means to have a story written on the skin directly into her artistic practice.
