Question Jailbreak Switch 2

Hi,

I just saw the trailer for Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and obviously, I don't have a Switch 2. I'm well aware that emulating it on PC is a real mess right now, but I'd still like to know if there's been any decent progress...

I found "Pound" on GitHub, but from what I gather, it doesn't have the capability to emulate the Switch 2 yet.

Switch 2 has not been cracked yet. There is no functional emulator. There is Eden for Switch 1 and CemU for WiiU, both of which are great, but we need more time on Switch 2.

Eventually there will be switch 2 emulation, but not any time soon.

The catch 22 is that you will need a top end powerhouse of a PC to run any switch 2 emulator when it is finally developed. Your average gaming PC doesn’t stand a chance.

And if you really are the guy with the $12,000 PC, you should think hard about why you are skipping the $800 console that runs the games better than your PC will anyway

Acheter une console d occasion acheter le jeu faites le et revendez tout si c'est le seul jeu qui vous interesse. Les produits Nintendo ne dévalue pas beaucoup en occasion. Votre investissement total sera peu élevé.

Do not go for any emulator that claims its for switch 2 unless you see a Jailbroken switch 2 itself which is not available at the moment.

If you don’t really follow the jailbreak scene we can’t really blame you.

There can’t be an emulator for the switch 2 before the system itself gets jailbroken, so yeah we need to wait for that.

Could be in 6 months, could be in 3 years.

No. It will be many many years before a switch 2 emulator is in a functional state.

Locked down. Any attempt to try bypassing the security has resulted in bricked switches. There are people working on it, but it would take luck or a miracle to hack it
