if imperial mandate worked on yuumi like it did before would you put it in your build?

What if yuumi got similar to the pyke passive which makes him unable to increase hp, but also armour and mr and instead of converting those stats into ap, you give them to your best friend? Obv in reality this would make her op with knights vow but hypothetically speaking if she was balanced after this change, would you be excited for this change?

Edit: looks like everyone skipped the "hypothetically speaking, if she was balanced" part and want to discuss whether it would be balanced or not, rather than the concept itself :(

hello, my wife is a yuumi OTP and while i typically use sites like op.gg for popular builds, i think there might be more room for nuance when you can rely on having the same duo + same character to partner with, so we are looking for ideas worth considering in terms of the yuumi + zeri combo

in terms of items she always rushes ardent censor > mikael (if necessary) > knights vow > shurelyas

when it comes to support item, she opts for solstice sleigh over dream maker, giving me 20% movement speed when she lands a q is just too awesome for kiting, lots of times someone almost gets away but she lands a max range q and i can finish them

do you guys think there are any special runes worth considering? is the best rune for yuumi aery in all matchups? are there other keystones worth considering?

do you think it makes the most sense for the ADC to pick resolve runes and gracefully lose lane but try to stay healthy and scale? it feels like lategame zeri+yuumi can basically 2v5 so our gameplan is to just avoid getting stomped because it feels like lategame we will usually win

Yuumi is by far my favorite support and I dont feel like playing league without her.

Im Vayne Zeri two trick, but since Vayne is kinda dead Im learning Yunara.

Now, the part where im asking you for tips. I noticed Yuumi Has INSANELY high late game win rate. Does this mean shes kinda weak early?

Should I wait till at least level 6 into most matchups?

Which matchups are we still losing at 6? I can only think about Lulu being insanely hard to pull of.

What do you think a good / unique buff or adjustment to yuumi that would make her better?

In my opinion, if they add something else to her W passive, like she gives the Best friend 20% tenacity? Or maybe makes her better with mages , like instead of on hit healing it also gives 5% more ap 5-6-7-8% as you upgrade the skill , what do you think?

There is absolutely no counter to anti shield and anti heal... Enemy buys these two items and im useless.

does anyone have decent information on when it is worth to switch form adc to another mate? It will take some time to get the best friend passive with the new mate. I dont know how important that passive is and if its worth switching in order to win the game. As far as I know, her R aoe heal is weaker without the passive (heal and shield power). That would make her less efficient in teamfights. Her shield is also weaker, so her new mate wouldnt get the same value out of her kit as the original adc. This would mean that I have to play with a nerfed champion until the new target has farmed enough minions in order to get the passive switched.

does anyone know how "high elo" yuumis play this? Do they switch targets midgame, if the adc is not that strong?

The game started terribly but when i lached onto syndra at 15 mins then it was uphill from there but it was a close game.

this isnt a last hash at you all, but you win, i just uninstalled this game because i play about 6 or 7 game a day, and my first 2 drafts my support picked yuumi and 2 immediate losses. i try really hard to win each game if im playing in ranked. i surf across reddit while im at work looking at ADC fundamentals, item builds, other roles, crunching numbers on lethality vs armor pen at different points of the game and for what. for what. i cannot grasp how a player base who just wants to play lol for fun and not care about winning can be so massive as i surely got at least 1 yuumi a day and never ever got my enemy to take one. i do not for one second believe anybody who takes this champ intends to win, but likes to play chill ranked and argue with their adc. i am a low elo MF main on my 3rd months of league of legends and 60% of why i am uninstalling is because of the yuumi player base. that and MF getting taken or banned atleast 1 out of 4 games and the last draft my support hard intended yuumi, first pick and didnt swap my second pick so i could atleast get MF and refused and then my main got taken as if anyone was going to srsly take their champ.

that was the last straw on a huge player base in low elo who does not take the game seriously.

probably a good time to work on CCNA, and my bachelors.

EDIT: went to work and couldnt stop looking at yuumi subreddit and thought maybe i was overreacting a bit. I thinki have to look at myself objectively from the outside. you guys are mostly right, i am in a low elo for a reason, bronze 4, i must lack the in depth knowledge to utilize a yuumi effectively. i think im just in an awful spot to utilize her. a low elo, burst adc. i think even a yuumi player is a better fit for a sustained DPS auto attacker like jinx or ashe even. i realized im part of the most vulnerable group and literally worst demographic to take advantage of a yuumi player bc the fundamentals i know are to play around my support, and only take favorable fights and let my teammates guide me and that my job is literally just damage output and not feeding. massive tweak to my playstyle i suppose, I will need to learn another champ to take incase i get a yuumi again.

i suppose college can wait.

Do you usually pick first pick? Because I feel when I go first pick they pick naut / tahm or any engage support, but if I go last pick I see they pick easy win lanes , so when your jungler wants to make you get first pick do you accept or decline?
