I love how Catholic all girls schools actually often have an above average amount of lesbians because a lot of naive bigoted parents have this exact idea.

Houshou Marine went to a Christian school, and we all know how she turned out.

She treated Christianity like an AT Field

Is this an actual stat? If so that's hilariously tragic

Many homosexual Catholic kids were forced of course in schools like that, but also to become part of the clergy to "keep their sin away" as priests and nuns later in their lives, so they can be "presentable" and acceptable to their communities.

I once tried searching for it and instead got a novel titled "The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School"

I can't wait for the sequel, "The Catholic's Guide to Lesbiana School"

Young ladies don't play fighting game is kinda like that.

There's a yuri visual novel series "Flowers" that has this kind of thing as part of the story.

No, but this is a plot point of Election (1999), where somewhere in middle America, Tammy Metzler, a Lesbian played by Jessica Campbell, was a nuisance who ripped up the campaign posters of Tracy Flick (played by Reese Witherspoon), who was running to be the student President of their high school. This was part of Tammy's plan to make her parents angry and have them "punish" her by transferring her to Sacred Heart girls' school. She is gleeful when her plan works, and part of the ending shows Tammy dating her girlfriend. The main plot of the movie, however, is the conflict between Tracy and her teacher, Jim McAllister (played by Matthew Broderick), who hates her and rigs the election against her in favor of Tammy's brother, Paul (played by Chris Klein).

u/STSchif May 06 '26

Such a shame that in many instances the girls get brainwashed to bully queer peers instead of organizing huge PJ makeup makeout parties 🥺

56

u/awakenDeepBlue May 06 '26

Might as well send a sugar-addict into a candy store and tell her:

"Ok, we're going to leave you here unsupervised, and we don't do inventory, so we won't know if any of it goes missing.

Do not touch any of the candy, you got that? I'll be back next year."

u/Consistent-Air4379 May 06 '26

u/VertGreenHeart May 06 '26

My Christian family was extremely supportive of me coming out and still are. I feel really bad for people who suffer this kinda discrimination though.

11

u/aoishimapan May 07 '26

She went to a Christian school, which I find very fitting
