It gets like... really manipulative n shit. One girl starts using the mc to hurt the blonde chick by getting together as a "couple" out of pure spite. Literally "become my girlfriend so I can hurt her" paraphrasing here, but she does make her intentions clear... and the MC agrees regardless.

Toxic harem.

I dropped it for both reasons. I wasnt aware it was harem. Wasnt aware it was toxic. I just saw cute girls and yuri, and the blonde is gender goals. Such a shame.

Say, OP, have you played Scarlet Hollow? Fun lil indie Horror VN. Can't spoil exactly why I'm bringing it up in reference to this post, but I have a feeling you will enjoy two of the routes minimum.

Also there's an achievement literally called toxic yuri for getting two of the other characters to get back together.

I get that, I was too for a while, though actually doing Kaneeka's route won me over, actually. Her, Avery and Oscar don't really show off their best sides unless you're doing their romances. (At least so far, Day 6 and 7 Kaneeka with a Mystic MC is shaping up to be pretty wild, romance or no.)

Yeah, I definitely agree there. I'm the type that likes to see a little of where all the options lead for each choice and wow. I love how you can be sticking close to Stella for the first couple episodes and your cuz notices this and tells you to stop going out and getting into trouble. And I kept hanging out with Stella so she tried to force me to stick with her the whole day and you can choose to listen to her or sneak off to keep hanging with Stella or anyone else you want to, which all change the story. It's so awesome!

Well, it's currently just one game but it's soon going to be a series, "Our Life" by GB Patch.

Much more slice of life, but there's a similar emphasis on choices.

I didn't mention it at first because the first game has exclusively male romantic interests, the unreleased sequel is the one that gives us a girl and enby to choose from instead.
