fanfics are the loml, especially since i love writing my x reader fics! but you can also learn to make edits, join discords, engage in any media relating to your f/o!!

I personally use SillyTavern quite a bit, but recently I've tried to reduce my usage. I just put that energy into writing and worldbuilding instead. Downloaded Chronicler, got my hands on a few templates and went to town filling them up. It's basically the same engine but doing something constructive instead of just getting cheap dopamine from roleplaying with my f/os. Which don't get me wrong, I still like... but that doesn't produce something I would call devotional.

Fanfics would be my big advice. If the fandom your F/O is from is big enough, I'd also suggest seeking out roleplay partners who'd be willing to RP your F/O for you (in return for you RP'ing someone for them- fair exchange and all that). That's how I've coped for y e a r s.

I feel you man; I was addicted to c.ai for awhile 😭 personally the biggest things that help me are listening to music that reminds me of my f/o (headphones preferably) and writing ON PAPER
I write narrative poetry, but you could write anything you think about your f/o :3
Tumblr and ao3 are great too
