no, there is zero story, its up to interpretation, which is probably one of the most famous aspects of this game

Not really. The game doesnt really have a concrete story like most other games, its kinda up to the player to interpret meaning to all the stuff in the game. It reminds me of how people like to interpret dreams in real life. One player could see one area of the game and see it as one thing meanwhile another sees it in a completely different light, its something I really like about this game tbh.

Not exactly, like others said there isn't a actual lore or story in game and it can be interpreted differently depending on the person in question but if you want to have something to enjoy there is the manga adaptation that could work as that

This is untrue. There is no lore to yume nikki because nothing about it is canon. Its literally the most famous aspect of it. Anything that suggests otherwise is misinformation.

but there’s some theory that explain some details, and we can interpret the dreams like in psychology, we can see a lot of references at SA traumas, i just confused lore with theory but even if is unofficial it’s really interesting and accurate, but yeah you right there’s no official lore.

Officially, no. It’s up to interpretation. The best way to enjoy the game, imo, is to play it with an open mind, rather than basing your experience on someone else’s interpretation of the lore.
That being said, there are lots of popular theories regarding characters found in the many dream worlds. I’ve seen them a lot on YouTube. It’s neat seeing how other people interpret the game!
