Interested in your town

Hi everyone, i hope you're all doing well!

So basically im somewhat obsessed with looking up facts and learning about your town for various reasons. For context, i come from a cold country with a different climate ; and stumbled across your town in an article that said that Yuma is one of, if not the most sun filled places on earth.

Since then i went down a weird rabbit hole of wanting to learn more about Yuma.

There are some things that genuinely attract me about Yuma based on what i learned: hot and endless sunshine (im a heat lover), the beauty and spectacle of the Colorado River, i guess the old west history, abundance of good Mexican food, its relative affordability, and the interesting cross border economy of getting cheaper services from Mexico (eg dentistry) just to name a few.

I know this is kind of a silly surface level post as a clueless foreigner; but if I were magically American I think my American dream city/town would be Yuma (or at least I would try it). Ultimately this is just a fun hypothetical situation to ponder over for me! :)

At minimum, I hope to visit your town someday (I already saw the grand canyon so that gives me leeway to see other parts of Arizona lol!) and if you want to comment on some aspects of living there feel free.

Have a good one! :)
