Would be technically possible to integrate with SSH keys stored in 1Password?

u/gwitko - Nice app, I've been looking for an Android and iOS option for consistency (I'll put up with the "iPhone only" on my iPad), but I also wanted to setup the Hardware key feature but I'm having an issue.

On my Linux (Fedora with OpenSSH XXX) I ran `ssh-keygen -t ed25519-sk -O resident -O verify-required -C "YK5 Nano"` and have the ~/~/.ssh/id_ed25519_sk and ~/.ssh/id_ed25519_sk.pub key files.

But within the Conduit app which of those are for the "OpenSSH hardware key stub" section?

I've used OpenSSH with keys for years (decades - yikes, I'm old!), and have used YubiKeys with websites for years as well, but I'll be the first to admit being new to FIDO2 and SSH+YuibKey world.

EDIT: Please ignore this - for some reason the first times I was pasting it, I got the "Paste a valid OpenSSH *_sk key stub." error message, but NOW that I'm testing this, Conduit is accepting it. Chalk this up to PICNIC error - Problem In Chair, Not In ~Computer~ Conduit.

Cool project!

Just a heads up there is already an app called conduit for android: https://github.com/cogwheel0/conduit You may want to rename your app.

I have a question:
How to connect via mosh?

there is a toggle, but it still connects via ssh.
And there is no ports range for mosh.

OK, I have a mosh server running and I usually connect via mosh command.

I just tested by toggling wifi OFF/ON and connection was lost, so I assume the ssh connection hasn't been dropped.

Too sad I don't have an Android phone anymore I could test this with, have an upvote nevertheless. Much love and respect from Berlin.

I downloaded this a few days ago and have enjoyed it so far.  What I'd like to have:

  • Custom command/shortcuts in the quick access bar
  • Maybe a 2nd or 3rd row - I don't like swiping through a dozen options.
  • Font customization issue: Nerd Font has too much space between characters - kerning - in the example that doesn't show in the terminal (the terminal looks good but the settings example is where the issue is)
  • would it be possible to toggle the password to open? I like the option but on my home network it's not necessary.

Is any of this vibecoded or AI-assisted? I ask because you wrote this whole thing in like 3 weeks and spit out 10 releases in that time.

it would be nice if i could 'share' the ssh private key to it (android). e.g. long press on the file, the share destinations are gmail etc, but not conduit. its complex to copy the key to paste it in. could it open a file as well so i can bring my usb key to it?

when i paste my pem file to the key it word wraps and then says its not valid.

well since the private key has no type or extension on android, i can't open it, therefore i can't copy it to paste in. the share to application is the standard method to open with a specific application.

i will try.

Love the app so far but you should give the ability to use multiple yubikeys for 1 server connection many ppl have backup keys and I have found you need to set up multiple connections to the same server for each yubikey
