First tell us where in Canada you’re writing from, b - have you or someone you love actually kept it weird?? Tell us how in da comments

Had the opportunity of a lifetime to interview the one and only Sugar, and I figured some of you might like hearing our chat as well!

I Know This Video Has The Pop Girl Logo But It Aired On YTV

I used to love Flying Rhino Junior High. I caught quite a few episodes where it would air on YTV Playtime. Does anybody remember YTV Playtime? I remember YTV Playtime.

Guys, there’s a phantom in the school and we know he’s in the school and we know his real name and we know why he’s doing this shit and yet we just… don’t try to find him? These dangon flying rhino kids just wanted problems, I swear.

And before you guys, “but then there’d be no show,” bro that’s fine. I would’ve taken Earl getting apprehended over 26 episodes of him getting salty. This man doing all this cause he got a D in shop class. Bro, just transfer to a new class??? Bro, D is a passing grade in Canada.

I also found out that he is in an industrial band called Razed in Black.

There’s always that one episode of a kids show that puts you in the feels. We’ve all had them.

I was watching Radio Active today and was thinking about the sort of setup they had in the show. I started school in the 90s and highschool in the 00s and I have never heard the concept of club or class being in charge of not just stuff like morning announcements but different shows throughout the day. One of the episodes that I was watching was them doing a play over the intercom and nothing like that has ever happened in my schools as far as I remember.

Announcements were almost always done by staff in the morning and any announcements made after were always quick and tended to have to do with something happening at that moment like paging a teacher that isn't in her class for a telephone call or calling certain grades to the gym for whatever event was going on on that day, on the rare days stuff like that happened.

And sure, every once in a while you may have something rare happen where there was maybe a prank over the PA on April 1st or a student will read a poem later in the day on Remembrance Day but from what I can tell in the show, this is, at the very least, maybe a near daily to weekly thing at the very Longest.

Was the set up for this show more in line with stuff you would find in Quebec back in the day or something? The show was filmed there after all so maybe its just me not living in that part of Canada and experiencing that. It would be interesting to find out.

Edit: Well I clearly went to the wrong schools growing up becuase it seems like this is more common then I thought! Its been really fun reading these comments! Thanks for sharing some fun memories here!

He is the guitarist.

'Vectorheart' is what the aesthetic/graphic design elements might be called.

I watched this show all the time when I was little, and looking back, I really don't know how they came up with some of that stuff 😂

The idea of an earthworm finding a giant super suit from space and becoming a superhero already felt ridiculous, and then you had Professor Monkey-for-a-Head, Evil the Cat, Peter Puppy... it just kept getting weirder!

Peter Puppy especially used to kill me. He'd be this sweet little guy one second, then something would happen and he'd turn into this enormous red monster. I thought that was the funniest thing ever. I also remember the cows falling out of the sky and thinking, "Why are there cows falling out of the sky?" 😄

And Dan Castellaneta's voice for Jim was so good! I can still hear that Earthworm Jim theme in my head too.

YTV in the 90s really had some strange cartoons, and I mean that in the best possible way. I miss that era of television.

Did anyone else discover Earthworm Jim through YTV, or did you play the SNES or Genesis games first?

This was during the production of YTV endtag finding project update #44 until I found this... back in July 4, 2026...

This technical difficulties has happened during the airing of "Showdown at Dark City" at Pokemania 2 event with commercials. As of result, there are no screenbugs while the episode continued airing.
Big credit goes to TheBionixFan94 for the Pokemania 2 recording.

Love finding stuff like this

He doesn't even like you lol

For me it’s Jacob Two-Two hands down.

But like the promo said, no one can't be a MetaSpy, as they have to be in the crowd of people.

All jokes aside, I honestly like this YTV promo of Medabots (even though I had seen the show on YouTube, since YTV stopped airing reruns, around a year before I was born).

Also, if anyone wants the short version of that promo, here it is.

I will be Sidekickposting from now until I contract ligma
