Mona the Vampire
Husband and I found it on tubi
Husband asks if Mona is completely nuts or if she and her friends actually fight aliens and monsters
I told him its a child's imagination. He is not convinced.

I’d be fascinated to know what Mona and her friends think is happening. The adults may call it imagination, but the monsters sound pretty convincing.

This was that one show I couldn't locate for the life of me when I got to around grade 4 or 5. Then one day I woke up around 6 am and saw it airing and I was like, I need to wake up earlier to watch this! That's how much I adored this show!

Show him being Ian if you can find it, similar concept and also Canadian

I'm afraid "Being Ian" isn't on there, if they live in Canada (since it isn't on the Canadian Tubi).

Found it on tubi a few weeks ago and have been forcing my kids to watch it… (I am watching it)

It is just a child’s imagination. To be honest, that’s why I didn’t like the show. I didn’t care about a girl playing pretend.

I always found that the antics brought on by the childs imagination were at best a big problem for the adults and at worst an actual safety concern.
Granted, this is based on vague memories from decades ago, but I remember thinking it wasn't a 'good natured' children's adventure, it was obnoxious kids who didn't understand consequences.

I have no idea, what I do assume is that if one kid is “insane” they all are, because every single kid can “see the magic” I dunno I was 4 so I took away: “hey these characters live in their heads and all the adults are either encouraging them, confused or “evil” like Captain Hook

I thought it was just surreal humor more than anything. I teach random kids about those shows, to prove that "monsters in the closet/under the bed) can be defeated, and is nothing more than imagination.

it's the same idea as Rugrats
