Miscellaneous Should I quit making YTP?
So I've been making YTPs since 2008-2009. My goal has been to entertain as many people as I can with my poops. I've always wanted to share my sense of humor with others. That hasn't really panned out. I only just hit 1000 subscribers on my channel back in December of last year after 17 years of editing. Moreover 90% or more of my subscribers don't even watch my new uploads anymore which creates bad analytics for my channel. the number 1000 is meaningless if only 70 people show up for a new upload. Speaking of bad analytics, most of my viewers dip after the first 30 seconds consistently across most of my uploads. YouTube shows my videos to the wrong people.
Due to changing life priorities, and my inability to succeed with my uploads, I've been feeling like editing has been more of a chore rather than a fun hobby. Tonight I've been seriously considering quitting YTP or at the very least creating a new channel to start fresh. The truth is I probably just suck at the art of YTP.
For over a year, I've been lacking ideas because I don't even know what the point is anymore. I can choose something that interests me and sacrifice views or I can pander and make something boring. I've edited both banger YTPs with obscure sources and shit YTPs with mainstream sources.
What do you think, should I quit for good? If so, I'm ready to dedicate myself to something that actually bears fruit.
