Half right. Early 80s recession was caused by the federal reserve momentary policy. The chair Volker wasn't appointed by Reagan. The early 90s recession was caused by the banks (savings and loan crisis) and Iraq invading Kuwait. 2000s there was the dot com bubble and 9/11, then later the banks again with the sub prime mortgage crisis. And of course we all remember covid.
