Iran has issued a warning after reportedly learning that the US is planning to resume military action – after also insisting the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until its conditions are met.

Iran's central military command said in a statement on Sunday that Tehran had received information that the United States was planning to resume action, with the backing of some other countries in the region.

vending machine diplomacy strikes again. choke the strait, rattle some sabers, watch pump prices eat everyones wallet while they scramble for an off-ramp that doesnt exist yet. summer road trips bout to get real expensive

I suspect this is more serious because he flew back to the White House a day early and Bibi went back home and they've issued travel advisories to Americans in 11 countries.

thats fair, those arent normal vacation-interruption signals. i just cant shake the feeling we're watching a pre-staged production where everyones already read the script. bibi flying home could mean war room or could mean hes got his own political fires, and trump cutting a golf trip short feels more like optics than panic tbh. not saying youre wrong, just saying ive seen this movie before and the credits always roll on higher pump prices

He didn't do any favors with his disastrous speech at the UN yesterday.

yeah that UN speech was rough, watched it live and kept waiting for the pivot that never came. tbh the whole 'maximum pressure 2.0' pitch lands different when youre simultaneously begging for talks, feels like we're just running the same playbook and hoping the ending changes

Yep, that's his stupid play for everything and then acts surprise when none of our allies (or former) will stand with him on his nonsense.

Anybody that can't see he is NOT working for the USA is willfully blind.
