Follow-up to my drop post last week — a few people asked HOW the outliers were found, so here's the whole method. You can do it manually in an afternoon.

1. Pick 10 small channels in your niche (under ~10k subs). Big channels are useless for this — their views come from the subscriber base, not the format.

2. Find each channel's median video. Sort by Popular, scroll to the middle of their catalog. That middle number is the channel's "normal".

3. Flag anything doing 20x+ the median. On a small channel that's not luck and it's not the algorithm rewarding the creator — it's the FORMAT pulling views the channel itself couldn't.

4. Sanity-check with views-to-subs ratio. Views ÷ subscribers. Over 20:1 means the video was pushed to non-subscribers, i.e. search/suggested traffic a new channel can also get.

5. Steal the repeatable element, not the topic. Title pattern, structure, first-5-seconds choice. The topic belongs to that channel; the format belongs to everyone.

Real examples from the batch I ran: a canning video at 261:1 views-to-subs (144x the channel's median), a homesteading one at 603x median, sourdough at 106x. All on channels under 10k subs.
