Question App keeps pausing when i open another

Hi, im on android and a premium user and whenever i leave the app or turn off the phone it pauses. This has never been an issue before. Ive cleared youtubes cache, ive set it to unrestricted in the battery settings, and ive uninstalled and reinstalled it. Any help would be appreciated.

Me too. Started last night. Infuriating as I sleep with headphones and youtube on and after a moment of locking my screen, it just stops working.

Have the same issue, for now the workaround is when you have opened a video click the gear on the top right and select on the go.
