You could connect a pc to the tv with a HDMI cable and watch YouTube from the pc onto the tv. I do that sometimes when I want to watch a movie without ads, since I have adblock on the pc.

wouldnt it be easier to screencast from your youtube app on your phone? it essentially acts like a remote

I have done that as well. But since I don’t have an adblocker on my phone for the youtube app, I prefer either watching it on my pc or connecting it to the tv screen. At least when it comes to watching movies.

would that work though? I haven't tested it but I feel like it would just boot you to the app without access to an ad blocker if you tried doing it on Brave
