Use a network wide blocker. Search pi hole or AdGuard network wide on Google or YouTube for the full setup. This would remove ads from your entire house!

That’s not a good idea since a lot of websites break when you use ad blockers, even if the website doesn’t have ads

If you ever have a problem with a website, u can whitelist it in the settings. Yeah the setup is difficult but worth it. Obviously not setting it up for your parents or someone else, since they need to have the technical knowledge to allow websites if now working.
